Working in the Emergency Department transferring a patient in the parking lot from a car to a wheelchair.
What happened
The patient was very weak and not able to stand long for the transfer. The patient 's right side was weak as well. I had to have the patient put their hands on my shoulder and grab the patient 's pants to help them stand up to the transfer to the wheelchair.
