What happened
The needle stick happened during an administration of the SQ shot. I was working with the nursing student and was helping her to administer the SQ injection. A patient had very minimal ABD fat tissue and I squeezed the skin on the ABD while the nursing st [REDACTED] administered the injection. The needle touched the side of my finger before going to the patient.
