EE was working a Mayo Clinic [REDACTED] [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] at the [REDACTED] [REDACTED] on behalf of CV Medicine. There were other Mayo Clinic employees at the event. EE was at the booth working durng breakfast and when that was done he returned to [REDACTED] s room with a cup of coffee to check email. He wasn 't 100% sure but thinks he may have spilled a bit of coffee on the tile floor outside the conference room and in the hallway leading to the elevator. His foot slipped and he fell on his right side and r olled to his back. Staff member a Mayo CPD employee witnessed the fall and asked EE if he was OK. Initially his right elbow was sore but no other pain was evident at that time. Then on [REDACTED] out of the blue EE had sharp pain in the should er neck area that did not and has not gone away. Since [REDACTED] EE has been in communication with his neurosurgeon who performed surgery on [REDACTED] for similar pain he had experienced before the surgery. Steroids have been prescri
