Work Related Injury EE ToolingTech was working on a creeper underneath the top mold replacing inserts for a minor change over While the EE was underneath the top mold inserting an insert he communicated with the other employee ToolingTech controlling the rod that holds the inserts in place that the rod was in the correct position When reaching for another insert to place in the top mold the insert he had just placed fell and cut his right ear lope Employee removed himself from underneath the top mold and placed pressure on his ear The EE insisted that he go to the ER to get injury checkout which the Safety Lead agreed EE went to Hendricks Medical Center where he received 7 stiches in his right ear lobe EE was able to return to work the [REDACTED] with no restrictions
