Per MSF-I was administering subq heparin. It was administered and when I went to use the safety lock and I pushed up the plunger and pushed it into my hand. [REDACTED] nursing supervisor was notified and paperwork was brought. Labs for [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] were placed on patient and drawn. I went down to ER and had my labs drawn. [REDACTED] nursing supervisor aware of event.
