Before the incident
Welding a metal C-channel frame on a metal workbench.
What happened
While flipping over a metal frame to weld the other side the metal frame was dropped onto teammate #1 's middle finger of his left hand crushing his finger between the metal workbench and the metal frame.
Injury or illness
The teammate sustained a crushing injury to the lefthand middle finger fingertip. The teammate was transported to our local hospital where he was x-rayed which confirmed a fracture and required five stitches.
