What happened
Employee States she was ringing up a customer when she placed her left leg up against the bagging platform that was attached to the register She stated that once she did that she immediately felt the upper part of her leg directly below the kneecap push back and was in immense pain She stated that the force of resting her leg there and where it hit caused the injury She stated that she had existing medical conditions that could have contributed to or made the injury worse She was able to eventually sit in a chair and we did provide a bag of ice while she waited for EMS
