Employee was monitoring the drain in the basement.
What happened
Employee was assisting and was instructed to go down to the basement level to observe any activity as a result of our efforts to clear the blockage in the drain from the 9th [REDACTED]. With [REDACTED] standing by in position near the open condensate drain P-Traps they other employees proceeded to use a sewer rod to clear the blockage from the 9th floor. Once opened we heard and felt an audible confirmation the blockage was cleared. [REDACTED] reported via radio transmission that he observed the pipe shake but no evidence of a clearing had presented itself. Moments later [REDACTED] confirmed there was indeed evidence of the clearing and that he had been sprayed with the dirty water that had been in the pipe.
