What happened

[REDACTED] was a very busy day due to a staff illness. Asked coworker to grab my next patient when she got hers so I could return an ED patient. When I got back patient was already sitting on edge of bed undressing. Looked like she was having difficulty gett ing her pants off so I helped. Then offered to lift her legs as she guided her upper half down to a lying position. Unfortunately she began falling back and looked like she was going to hit her head in my machine so I reached with my right arm to help w hich caused the weight of her legs to fall on my left arm. I immediately felt pain in left shoulder but didn?t notice anything in neck right away. [REDACTED] my neck was sore so took ibuprofen ice heat chalked it up to overdoing it at work the previo us day but [REDACTED] I woke to pain going down my right neck back and unable to rotate neck without pain. I told my coworkers about incident after it happened but they did not directly see it.
