What happened
Circulating RN reported that the employee got her hand caught on a wire and it cut her R index finger. The wire was put through the sternum of the patient so had blood on it. The wire was cut off and disposed of so did not have contact with the patient ag ain. This is NOT a DUAL. Employee was double gloved removed gloves after exposure and washed hands with soap and water. The cut was superficial but did draw a little bit of blood.
