Employee was suturing the source patient. After exiting the source patient 's skin with the suture needle the employee stuck L index finger. Employee was wearing double gloves needle pierced through and punctured skin. Employee immediately discarded th e suture needle it did not come back into contact with the source patient. Employee scrubbed out and cleansed the site-noted a small amount of blood at the puncture site. NOT A DUAL.
