On scene talking patient into walking to gurney for treatment. Patient had swung at officers. [REDACTED]

Crew was requested by Fairmont PD for a male party severely intoxicated and wet possibly locked out of his house for unknown period of time. Crew arrived on scene met by officers stating patient was cold wet and intoxicated and yelling at officers he w as not doing anything wrong and they needed to get the F---- off his property. Crew asked patient if he would walk with her to the ambulance so we could help him and get him warm. Patient agreed and started to walk tripping on his belt that caught into lawn mower causing patient to fall into 3543 hyper extending left knee and knocking her down to knees. Patient then yelled did you see her hit me. 3543 had pain in knee right away. Later at ER [REDACTED] noticed increase pain and swelling becoming tender to touch. 3543 notified POC and her supervisor.
