We responded to a medical call at Rochester West Health services nursing facility. The patient required a sheet transfer from her bed to MCAS ambulance stretcher. The patient was obese and had a bariatric bed. The patient 's fitted sheet on bed was used to move patient from her bed to stretcher. There were 4 people in total involved in this move. Two of them which were staff there at the nursing facility and the other two being myself and my partner that day. I was at the patients upper body on the o pposite side the ambulance stretcher was on. Due to the larger size of the patient 's bed it was discussed between everyone that we would move the patient halfway first reset and then move the patient the rest of the way onto the stretcher. The first portion of the move occurred without incident.
