Around [REDACTED] the employee noticed a slight irritation in his left eye. He originally thought it could be pink eye because his kids were ju st getting over it. He had no idea there was a foreign object in his eye. After the shift he went to the ER because the irritation had got s o much worse he suspected something in his eye. That was a small piece of steel embedded in his left eyeball. The ER doctor did excess ive trauma to his eye by improperly removing the foreign object. The employee had to see an eye specialist to get treatment from the tr auma caused at the ER.
