What happened
The employee was loading a large drop down holder onto the press brake. He loaded the holder and believed that he had tightened everything properly. He walked away for some time then came back and proceeded to raise the upper ram of the machine. When this action occurred it lifted the drop down holder from a resting position. The one of the drop downs proceeded to fall to the ground. During an attempt to get out of the way the employee 's finger got cut on the edge of the movable control panel.
