Before the incident
A mechanic and contractor were working on 700 lb. header slide (ram) and needed to rotate the ram to its side.
What happened
The contractor was at the head side (operating the hoist) and the mechanic was helping manipulate the tail side. During the process of tipping the ram 90 degrees the tail end came off the wooden blocks and pinched the mechanic’s hand (pinky finger) between the slide and the table.
