Before the incident
Employee was the first on the scene of a patient in a motor vehicle who was unresponsive with agonal breathing.
What happened
In order to open the patient 's airway and to begin delivering ventilations employee removed the patient from the vehicle by leaning her forward employee placed their arms under her arms and grasped her right wrist in employees left hand and her left wrist in employee 's right hand. The employee then lifted her off the car seat using proper lifting techniques and rotated her to the left then placing her on the ground.
