Before the incident

What happened
After completing a job the machine was shut down. While the Operator was shutting off the cooling water line he grabbed the pulley guard with his right hand and his fingers went inside. The belt pulled his middle finger right hand over the pulley causing the injury.
Injury or illness
Right hand middle finger was pinched between the belt and pulley. Damaged tissue and broke the tip of the finger.
