Before the incident
EE was attempting to unclog a production pipe with air pressure
What happened
EE pressurized the clogged pipe to attempt blowing out restriction. When attempting to disconnect the pressure hose residual back pressure was in line. Upon loosening the clamp holding the sanitary fitting to which the air hose was connected the back pressure forced the fitting off the piping with an explosive force which hit the EE 's finger causing the laceration.
