What happened
Employee finished break (Lunch) and returning to Pack-7 line-73 to resume duties. As they were suiting up (donning appropriate PPE) the employee stepped backward (to minimize crowding in the entry passageway) they tripped from the vertical lip of the mat. As they were falling EE reached out to lessen fall and inadvertently struck a metal rack storing gloves causing laceration to Middle Finger of Left Hand resulting with stitches.
