Employee was putting the chafing dishes back in the catering closet after Veterans Day Breakfast

What happened

Lifting the chaffing dishes off the floor and stacking them on the cart to take to the closet. Employee put 2 on bottom of metal cart and 2 on top of cart. She felt fine when you left work on [REDACTED] but later in the evening she got a pain in the hip. Employee put heat on it. On [REDACTED] before she came in at [REDACTED] she put a biofreeze patch on to help her get throught the day. After work on [REDACTED] is when the pain starting moving down her leg. [REDACTED] it was not as bad in the morning but later in the day it got worse. She couldn 't sleep [REDACTED] since she was so uncomfortable. Employee said she will be calling the doctor as soon as she leaves the HR office [REDACTED] ([REDACTED]). She said she hasn 't lifted the heavy chafing dishes in a long time and said she hasn 't lifted anything else out of the ordinary. Employee commented she used her legs when lifting and lifted them correctly.
