What happened
on scene with 2 SKPD officers with a subject trying to get into his electric wheelchair. He was attempting to help him balance in a sitting position until additional EMS arrived subject began to attempt to pull himself up off of the floor using his arm. SKPD officers stepped in and assisted him to lift him into a standing position but then stepped back once subject was upright. Subject has left side paralysis and was slinging to him and was unable to move alone. Additional EMS arrived and helped move subject to his chair.
