The employee was packing orders for shipment onto pallets in our packing area.
What happened
The employee was pulling on a loose piece of wood on a pallet and in doing so felt his thumb dislocate. He immediately pulled on it and it popped back into place. The injury caused him to faint. He fell backwards hitting the back of his head on the floor.

Thumb dislocated potential concussion to head.

Wood pallet was the tool to cause the dislocation. A concrete floor was the concern for a potential impact injury
