What happened
Was walking into front entrance of TIRR KG. I saw a plastic piece on the ground and stopped to pick it up to throw it away. It ended up being a finger pricking piece for finger sticks (Probably for testing blood sugar). It poked into my thumb on right hand. I squeezed it to get as much blood out of my thumb as possible applied alcohol sanitizer washed hands and reapplied alcohol sanitizer. Placed a band aide.
