What happened
I was exposed to and contracted Covid-19 while providing medical care to patients who were known to be infected with Covid-19. The patients were being treated in an isolation unit and I was required as part of my normal duties to provide care in the isolation unit. I was routinely tested at work for Covid-19 during the time I was required to perform these duties and was informed by management that I had tested positive for the virus on 11-21-23 preventing me from returning to work.
