Before the incident
At around [REDACTED] a setup 6th Hand was attempting to move a roll that was positioned partially on the [REDACTED] [REDACTED] Cushion Backstop and floor to make room for the next set to be discharged from the winder cradle During this process a floating labor located at the [REDACTED] roll line station placed the roll belt line back into automatic which inadvertently raised the backstop Once the [REDACTED] Cushion Backstop raised it caused the roll to roll backwards and partially over the employees left foot Immediately following the incident the injured employee reported the incident to his supervisor and was taken to Medical for assessment After arrival at Medical the Mill Nurse determined that the employee needed to be seen by a higher level of care for xrays and assessment The employee was taken to JPH ER by the Mill Nurse The employee was given a prescription medication for pain and 4 days restricted duty until he can be seen by his primary care doctor Xray results were negative
