A Turner Specialty Services Inspections and NDE technician completed a liquid penetrant test in the [REDACTED] and needed to obtain a work order for another job in a trailer located across the street. While exiting the unit in his company issued truck the employee stated the sun was shining directly into the windshield. As he crossed the roadway traveling approximately 5 MPH he thought he was going to cross the concrete lined ditch over the culvert crossing but drove straight into the ditch causing the top of his head to contact the sun visor clip.
