Operator was waiting for the side trim from a 0.055 coil so he could thread it around the scrap winder to begin the side trim process.

As the head end of the coil was through the side trimmer he noticed the side trim was not falling down toward the roller guide so he reached up to pull it down. The side trim punctured through his cut-resistant glove lacerating his right index finger on the palm side.
