On [REDACTED] a maintenance associate was working in B Prep cutting a belt on silo 2 The worker was using a utility knife to cut a belt when the knife slipped puncturing cutting the associate 's wrist First aid was given to the associate and he was taken to UT Health Hospital in [REDACTED] by his lead man At the hospital he was monitored the wound was cleaned up dermabond was used to close the laceration (glue) and he was given a tetanus shot He was then released from the ER with no restrictions and was allowed to return to work
