[REDACTED] was pulling the vessel BIG PAPPA into the water. Once in the water the vessel rolled onto it 's starboard side at around a 35° angle. Employee climbed onboard to get rigging set.

The part of the vessel that was being used as a handhold failed beaming off and hitting the employee in the ankle. With no handhold available he realized that he was going to hit the steel railing as he fell and chose to jump in the water for a softer landing.

Closed non-displaced fracture of 2nd metatarsal bone of left foot due to hit with pipe.
