At approx. [REDACTED] employee was struck by an empty cage being transported by a mail handler on forklift. Driver was coming down the middle of the isle slowly when employee went to retrieve more mail from across the isle. Neither party saw the other as it happened in an instant resulting in employee being struck by the cage and knocked to the ground.
