The employee was delivering a package to a customer.

Carrier states at [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] she was delivering a package and slipped and fell on ice and she called her Supervisor and let me know that she fell and I repeatedly asked her if she was ok and her reply was yes she just thinks she rolled her ankle. Carrier also stated she was just going to walk slower. Once the carrier returned she asked if she could just go home for the day and put her foot up to which Supervisor stated that she could. Carrier was offered to go to the clinic but declined because she thought she only rolled her ankle. After a [REDACTED] hours Carrier let us know that her son ended up taking her to the hospital and that she was told she had broken her foot in 4 different places and was going to be off work for maybe 8 weeks with possible surgery.
