What happened

Supervisor was coming back to Post Office at [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] after dropping outgoing mail at [REDACTED]. He was traveling north on [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] intersection. He noticed a Jeep traveling west on [REDACTED] and this vehicle slowed down as if he was going to stop. [REDACTED] continued to proceed through the intersection and the Jeep vehicle hit the rear part of the Postal Ford [REDACTED] car. This caused the Ford [REDACTED] to do a complete 360 spin jump the curb and hit a tree at [REDACTED] [REDACTED] was not in control of the vehicle and he started to swirl. A neighbor asked if he was OK and called the police. He saw the airbag push out of the steering wheel and there was smoke coming from the dashboard. He felt the vehicle was going to catch on fire. The Jeep driver was in the intersection and I told the police I did not need an ambulance. The postal car was towed. Our dispatcher picked me up and my wife drove me home.
