Working on APBS

On [REDACTED] at appx [REDACTED] Clerk was on working on a console on [REDACTED] pushing mail. As employee leaned forwarded pushing mail on the belt one of her braids became caught in the gear box to the left of the running belt was ripped from her scalp. At this point she managed to press the emergency stop button in order to clear her hair before re starting the machine. Employee came into the tour office and informed Supervisor about the incident. Supervisor did state to employee that long hair should be tied up when working on running machinery.Employee stated she needed to go to the emergency room and she did complete a [REDACTED] a statement was given a Medical Choice form before she departed. Employee was treated released at OSF medical center.
