What happened
On [REDACTED] Rural Carrier stated on [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] he was at the 18 hundred [REDACTED] of [REDACTED] He stated he was at a red light his light turned green. He stated he did his safety check look left right left. He stated he proceeded to go when another car ran the light and hit his postal vehicle. He stated that spinned him around in the street. He stated at this time he is having lower back pain. Harris [REDACTED] Precinct [REDACTED] came and investigated the accident. He stated the other driver ran the red light and hit the postal driver. He stated the other driver was responsiblity for this accident. The Officer stated that the driver had no car insurance and was being arrested for a DUI. Both vehicles were not drivable and had to be taken away. The Rural Carrier stated that he was not sure if he was going to get medical attention He did go home.
