Before the incident
[REDACTED] put a pie containing nuts in his mouth during a tasting. [REDACTED] was asked if he had any dietary restrictions prior to the tasting he said he did not. As soon as the pie had entered his mouth he was made aware that it contained nuts. He spit it out. Immediately he began to develop symptoms of a severe reaction [REDACTED] developed hives and was struggling to breathe. [REDACTED] was taken to Urgent Care for emergency treatment and then onto the ER for further monitoring.
What happened
[REDACTED] had a severe allergic reaction during a tasting. He was asked if he had any dietary restrictions he said he did not. He did not swallow the pie with the nuts in it. He was taken to urgent care immediately then the ER for monitoring.
