On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] [REDACTED] was using a 31 lb hammer and a letter stamp for stamping part numbers into a part. [REDACTED] missed the stamp and hit his right thumb resulting in a fracture his thumb. [REDACTED] refused medical attention at the time of the incident. On [REDACTED] he stated reached out to [REDACTED] (HR) about his desire to have an X-Ray done on his thumb. [REDACTED] sent him to the clinic on [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] was not wearing gloves at the time of the incident and he was not using a chisel-holding tool. [REDACTED] returned to work with a 3 lb restriction for his right hand.
