Carrier stepped out of delivery vehicle and strained right knee and back of right leg.

STEP IN ON NOT FALLING - Carrier pulled over by [REDACTED] to change trays. When getting out of the LLV to retrieve the mail she stepped out of the truck with her right leg and it immediately gave out. This caused the carrier to lose her balance and almost fall to the ground. To prevent falling the carrier grabbed the steering wheel to maintain her balance. The carrier proceeded to walk to the back of the truck and felt immediate sharp pain in her right knee and the back of her leg. Carrier was wearing proper footwear and there were no hazards the carrier stepped in or on that would have resulted in a misstep.
