employee was assigned to parcel post operation X1112 after finished delivering packages for 100 block of [REDACTED] her went back to his truck assigned 753943 opened the back door to get inside as he was getting inside of the truck the door began to side down and hit him on his back knocking him down to his knees he was able to lift himself up and returned to the station to switch trucks to finish his assignment. Before leaving the station he notified manager supervisor on duty and when then returned from the street he wrote the statement and gave it to the supervisor.
