CCA carrier [REDACTED] was delivering mail to [REDACTED] to a mailbox located up 6 wooden steps to the left corner of a patio porch with a wooden gate at the top of the steps. This address had 4 medium large dogs located inside the fenced area on the porch but the spindles are wide enough for the dogs to get their heads through the opening and the railing is low enough for the dogs to jump above it. went up the stairs to get access to the mailbox attached on the front left side of the patio porch as he was putting mail into the mailbox one of the dogs jumped up and bit his right hand.
