What happened
At approximately [REDACTED] [REDACTED] letter carrier was delivering mail on [REDACTED]. She held the swing door with her right shoulder delivered mail to the address and let the door swing shut after the delivery. There was a sharp metal piece that struck her left ankle as the door swung shut she tried to extricate her left leg and cut her left ankle. She returned to the office at [REDACTED] and informed management. She did not inform management earlier because she thought she would continue working. She thought she heard a sound in her ankle and that she had broken her leg so visited the City [REDACTED]. They have released her stating that she has a contusion only.
