On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] [REDACTED] was operating USPS owned tractor Trailer # 0610254 matted to USPS leased trailer # 07Z45C0476. Upon arrival to [REDACTED] he backed up his trailer against the dock and proceeded to lower the landing gears on the trailer. had difficulties unlocking the 5th wheel Pin. So he went back inside the tractor and backed up again. Mr. [REDACTED] went out of the tractor and proceeded to release the 5th wheel pin. After releasing the 5th wheel pin the tractor started to run away. The tractor ran away and struck to parked postal [REDACTED]s the first [REDACTED] [REDACTED] was pushed backward then side swiped a parked postal [REDACTED] # 8421647 causing damages to the driver side window mirrors and the whole body of this [REDACTED]. The tractor kept moving and struck the right side of the entrance gate panel crossing the street to come to stop on the grass of the building across the street.
