Employee reported an injury she obtained on [REDACTED] on [REDACTED]. Employee claims that she was lifting a 28lb oversized package from the retail counter to put in an APCgt; As she bent down to place the item in the APC she felt severe pain in her left abdominal area. She soon noticed a big bulge on her left side. She reported this to her supervisor [REDACTED]. She also stated that she did not want to report it and that she just wanted her to be aware. She recently came to management and stated she now had to have hernia surgery and wanted to file a claim.
