What happened
WHile I was out doing observations I came around the corner on Proctor and saw that a regular carrier was picking up mail from the ground. It looked as if he had just tripped. He informed me that he tripped on a crab apple on the sidewalk. I noticed that his hand was bleeding and he seemed to be ok. He had planned to continue at that time. Roughly [REDACTED] he called me and asked me to return because his leg was starting to swell. Employee is on blood thinners and that is a concern from the impact of the fall. His leg kept swelling but there was not color to it. Employee was taken to [REDACTED] ER where he met his wife and is currently receiving care.
