What happened
On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] regular Rural Carrier was enroute to [REDACTED] driving North on [REDACTED] crossing the intersection of [REDACTED] when a MACK [REDACTED] owned by Lorenzo Construction LLC USDOT 3230848 who was stopped at the stop sign on [REDACTED] and was not paying attention pulled into the direct path of the Honda [REDACTED] van carrier was driving. The front left bumper of the truck collided with the front end of the carrier vehicle which caused the carrier to strike the windshield. Damaged noted to the front bumper of the truck and total loss to the carrier’s POV. The carrier suffered injury and was transported to the trauma center by ambulance at Atrium Main Medical Hospital in [REDACTED]. The carrier is in stable condition with head and leg injuries both of which will require surgery and hospitalization however complete extent of injuries undetermined at this time.
