Carrier on [REDACTED] had dismounted to deliver to several mailboxes at [REDACTED]. Carrier had returned to the [REDACTED] and was preparing to enter back into traffic. POV was coming up behind carrier. POV started to change lanes but was unable to because another car was in the way. The POV did not stop in time and rear ended the [REDACTED] causing damage and injury. The carrier was wearing their seatbelt.
