What happened
On [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] Carrier had just put mail into the mail slot at [REDACTED] Alldays. There are four concrete steps going up to the mail slot. As it was sunny out they were dry. There were handrails available on both sides of the steps but he did not use them. He was wearing black leather walking shoes but they are not postal approved. The shoes are in bad repair: the soles of both shoes are loose flopping down in the front and there is a large hole in the front of the right shoe where his toes stick through. He walked down the steps and slipped and fell as his left foot hit the last step. He had cuts on his left hand and injured his left ankle and the left side of this body.
