What happened
A Capper Operator was working on line 2 and performing her standard before shift vacuum pressure quality check. This vacuum check is performed by inserting three water jars onto the line before the capper machine. As the team member placed the water jar onto the belt the water jar slipped out of their hand causing the jar to begin to tip. While attempting to stand the jar up the team members gloved hand become lodge between the jar and the rail. As the team member pulled out their hand their hand came in contact with the jar and railing causing a fracture and laceration requiring 10 stitches.
