What happened
Aide [REDACTED] was caring for both residents in [REDACTED]. The resident in [REDACTED] was telling [REDACTED] to pick things up and to put things away. [REDACTED] informed this resident that she did need to step away for a moment to provide personal care to her roommate. When the resident in [REDACTED] called [REDACTED] back to her side of the room she slapped [REDACTED] across the face. The aide left the room and started to head to the HR office. In the meantime the resident called the nurses station and told Unit clerk [REDACTED] that she had just slapped an aide and wanted her to come back to the room so she could apologize.
