Before the incident
The employee had exited a house and was stepping down to the ground using the portable steps on the outside of the house. As she did this she was also carrying a portable chorded vacuum in both hands.
What happened
As the employee stepped down from the last step she stepped onto some hoses that were bunched up at the bottom of the steps causing her to stumble. As the employee attempted to recover from stumbling she tripped over the hanging chord of the vacuum she was holding causing her to fall forward onto her left wrist.
